On Friday I bid farewell to cubicle life. Over the past several months, my department has been moving to another building on campus. My group was the last to move and today was my first day living in an actual office. With actual windows and a door. I posted some pictures over on Flickr. I spent most of the day unpacking all of my files and other office goodies. The first thing, of course, was setting up my ethernet hub so I could get my PowerBook on the ‘net. I still have quite a bit to do, but at least it will prevent me from having to do any actual work.
